4 COUNTRY SAFARI

DAY 1

Depart from Pretoria (South to North) (Shell Ultra City, Ben Schoeman highway). Travel via Nelspruit to Komatipoort where we will enter Mozambique. Spend the night at Xai-Xai.

DAY 2

After breakfast we will travel via Inhambane to Inhassorro, where we will stay for two nights in a holiday resort at the beach front.

DAY 3

Today you may take an optional boat trip to one of the islands - what an enjoyable experience.   You will have the opportunity to eat lots of Portuguese rolls!!!   Delicious fresh fish, prawns and calamari is awaiting you!!!

DAY 4

We will travel further North to Chimoio where we will spend the night.   This is one of the biggest towns in Mozambique.

DAY 5

Our route take us through the Gaza Province which has an allure of its own.   We will spend the night in tents on the banks of the mighty Zambezi River at TETE.

DAY 6 + 7

Today we will visit Cape MacClear with clear blue water and red and blue fish.  An optional boat trip to a nearby island is available where you will be able to feed the fish eagles.   You can also visit a little fishermen village.

DAY 8,9 + 10

Travel via Lilongwe to Zambia and from there to the South Luangwa National Park where we will camp on the banks of the Luangwa river.  Here the elephants will visit your camp and you'll experience a true African feeling.   You may also take an optional game drive through the National Park.  This camp is usually an unforgetable experience.

DAY 11

We travel to Lusaka where we will stock up and overnight.

DAY 12 + 13

Today we are on our way to Lower Zambezi National Park, where we will stay on the embankment of the Kafue River, across Zimbabwe's Mana Pools.  Optional 4x4 and boat trips are available for game viewing.

DAY 14 + 15

After breakfast we depart for Livingstone where we will visit the Victoria Falls and you may take an optional sunset trip on the Zambezi River.

DAY 16

We cross the Zambezi River at Kazankula with the ferry to Botswana and camp overnight at the beautiful Marang Hotel, Francistown.

DAY 17

Today our journey turns homeward after a trip through an unknown but exciting part of Southern Africa.
