JOIN US ON A UNFORGETABLE SAFARI
INTO AFRICA
DAY 1
We depart from the Shell Ultra City, Midrand on the Ben Schoeman Highway - South to North and travel via Warm Baths (Bela Bela) to Potgietersrus where we will stop for breakfast. We enter Botswana at the Martinsdrift border post and travel to Francistown where we will spend the night.
DAY 2
From Francistown we travel further north to Kasane where we will camp for the night at Torro Lodge.
DAY 3 + 4
At Kazangula we cross the Zambezi river with the ferry to Zambia and continue our journey to Livingstone, where we will spend two nights. We will also visit the Victoria Falls.
DAY 5
We travel to Lusaka today, where we will spend the night at the Eureka Camp.
DAY 6 + 7
From Eureka we travel in an easterly direction to Chipata, where we turn west to South Luangwa. We camp for two nights at Flat Dogs, just outside the park. We will spend a day in the park. South Luangwa is one of the most memorable parks in Africa.
DAY 8 + 9
From Flat Dogs we travel via Chipata to Mchinji, where we will cross the border to Malawi. We continue our journey via Lilongwe to Senga, where we will camp for two nights.
DAY 10 + 11
From Senga we travel via Muzuzu to Karonga, where we camp for two nights next to the lake.
DAY 12
We travel to karonga and cross the border at Tanzania. At Mbeya we will turn east and continue our journey to Kisolanza where we will spend the night camping. We will also stock up on some fresh provisions.
DAY 13,14 + 15
From Kisolanza we travel via Iringa and Morogoro to Dar Es Salaam, where we camp for three nights just outside Dar Es Salaam. From here we take the ferry to Zanzibar for a day and the other day you may spend at leisure in Dar Es Salaam or enjoy a day at the seaside.
DAY 16
From Dar Es Salaam we travel in a westerly direction to Chalinze where we take a northerly turn to Arusha, where we will spend two nights camping at the Masai Camp. Here we will stock up and service the vehicle.
DAY 17,18,19 + 20
From Arusha we travel to the Ngorogoro Crater where we spend the night camping on the bank of the crater. The following day we enter the crater to enjoy the spectacular wild life. You will find one of the highest concentrations of game in the crater.
After spending the night in the crater, we will overnight at the same camp on the bank of the crater where it can be very cold.
From Ngorogoro we travel to the Serengeti where we will camp. Our campsites from here will depend on where the migration leads us.
Camp commodities in Serengeti is very basic and in a bad state, but the amount of wild life you will see will certainly make up for it.
From the Serengeti we return to Arusha for a welcoming hot shower and a delicious meal. We will spend the night at the Masai camp.
DAY 21
We return to Dar Es Salaam today where our tour group will catch their flight back to South Africa.

DAY 22
From Dar Es Salaam we travel to Senga at Lake Malawi.
DAY 23
Travel to Zobue where we enter Mozambique. We will spend the night at TETE on the banks of the Zambezi River.
DAY 24 + 25
Travel via Guru and Chioma to Inhassoro, where we will spend two nights in a beautiful park near the beach front.
DAY 26
After breakfast we travel to Xai-Xai where we will enjoy a barbeque for old time's sake.
DAY 27
We enter South Africa at Komatipoort.
